It's not just those in the creative field that deal with disappointment, but all of us and Crystal's perspective is valuable as a reminder of where we can take that disappointment. Our King and Heavenly Father loves us and his encouragement to us is that, when we feel broken due to disappointment, we can bring those feelings to him. We can lay it all down and respond in worship and find peace in the midst of grief.

Romans 12:1-2 - Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

This Christmas, remember how precious you are to the Creator. Remember that there is nothing you can do or say that would ever separate His presence and love from you. It’s okay to go through Christmas feeling alone and isolated, but make sure you turn to God to fill those feelings of loneliness.
