About Talk About That
Two quirky and cerebral creatives talk it out as writer and former History teacher, John Driver, goes toe-to-toe with best friend and comedian, Jonnie W., in hilariously real and genuinely insightful conversations about life, history, current culture, faith—and everything in between.
Meet your Hosts
John Driver is a husband, daddy, writer, and podcaster who has served his community as a minister for over two decades. He has authored, co-authored, or served as the primary collaborative writer for over twenty-eight award-winning books, including the satirical The Ultimate Guide for the Avid Indoorsman (Harvest House) and Not So Black and White: An Invitation to Honest Conversations About Race and Faith (Zondervan). A nerdy humorist at heart, John is a former History teacher who has been featured on Good Morning America and numerous other shows and podcasts. He earned a B.A. in History and an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. John lives near Nashville with his wife and daughter. https://linktr.ee/johndriver
Jonnie W. is a nationally touring comedian for over a decade, performing at major events, clubs, and churches of all shapes and sizes. Having shared stages with comedians like Nate Bargatze, John Crist, Michael Jr., and Tim Hawkins, Jonnie approaches comedy from an absurdly silly and cerebral angle, combining off-beat standup & music into a unique comedy experience.
Jonnie's special, Live At The Franklin Theatre, was featured on Amazon Prime Video, and his two Drybar comedy specials are viral hits, garnering millions of views, and landing him in their Top Ten most viewed for 2021. He has also been featured on the Grand Ole Opry's Circle Network and is heard daily on Sirius Satellite Radio. Jonnie lives with his wife Curry near Nashville, TN, because that’s where all their stuff is. https://linktr.ee/jonniew
