As you meditate on these words from long ago, allow the Spirit to bring them life in your soul. We should expect this to happen with the living and active Word.
We will enter this passage prayerfully and expectantly using the Lectio Divina Scripture meditation method. As you allow the Spirit to lead, you may be surprised by what he has for you.
Once you’ve listened to this Scripture Experience podcast, then head over to the next episode and catch the interview with pastor Jenni Wong Clayville on where the Lord led her and why it matters in her life right now.

Luke 1:68-75, NIV
“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
because he has come to his people and redeemed them.
69 He has raised up a horn of salvation for us
in the house of his servant David
70 (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),
71 salvation from our enemies
and from the hand of all who hate us—
72 to show mercy to our ancestors
and to remember his holy covenant,
73the oath he swore to our father Abraham:
