Verse of the Day: Jeremiah chapter 31:16-17 - Now this is what the Lord says. Do not weep any longer, for I will reward you, says the Lord. Your children will come back to you from the distant land of the enemy. There is hope for your future, says the Lord.

Prayer Request:

  • Please, Lord, set free the rest of the 100 and 16 or so hostages that remain in Israel. Lord, we don't even know. You know, but we don't know how many of them are even alive. But we ask, based on Isaiah 61, that you would set the captives free.
  • We thank you, Lord, for setting these four free and for the bravery of these commandos who went in and risked their lives. All the intelligence operatives that set these four captives free. Lord, may their tribe increase and bless the families that are still dealing with this pain and the grief of not seeing their loved ones for so long.

A Prayer to Be Less Sad Today - Your Daily Prayer - September 7
