Courtnaye RichardConquering Comparison
November 8, 2022 ● 19 minShare this episode
Sometimes we don’t like to admit that we struggle with comparison, but most of us do. Whether it’s wives comparing to wives, singles to other singles, speakers to other speakers, moms to other moms, or writers to other writers, it’s still comparison and can be debilitating. Oftentimes, we measure ourselves to others and feel like we are not good enough or that we should be doing more. As kingdom women, God does not want us to compare ourselves to other people. He wants us to be satisfied with what He has given us. Being content in the state that we are in is of great gain, for God will give us more if that is His will (1 Tim 6:6). It’s time we stop comparing ourselves and start enjoying the life God has already given us.
Join the conversation with your host, Courtnaye Richard, as she shares what conquering comparison is, how comparison manifests in our lives, and ways to overcome it to live a contented and joyful life. No one is perfect, but acknowledging your struggle, confessing to God, hiding the scriptures in your heart, and guarding your heart is the way to overcome.

Today's Devotional
A Prayer for Unity in the Church This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 22
It’s easy to take offense when someone hurts you, or you’re frustrated with where you are in life, and it seems as though everyone around you is thriving. But, when we take an honest look at ourselves and see how God loves us (1 Corinthians 13), we realize we have no right to hold any grudges against our brothers and sisters.
