In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus compares two kinds of people - those who build their lives on a foundation of rock, and those who build their lives on a foundation of sand. What did he mean by that parable? In today’s devotion for kids, we’ll unpack these two kinds of lives and discover what it means to build a life on a strong foundation, and why that matters. We’ll end with a prayer for our kids to make God the rock of their lives and the firm foundation for their souls.
