Here are some questions to consider as we close this month together.- What tools can you use to answer back those voices of negative body image? If you need more resources or help, consider personal training where we work on this specifically in one of the units. Freedom means knowing how to fight and win, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll never be tempted to feel bad again.
- How can you practice kindness with your body? How have you been cruel to your body in the past? What would it look like to have a healthy relationship with your body and the way God made you? (Again, if you need more help here or feel stuck, consider personal training.)
- Where is your focus? If you find yourself slipping into a spiral of negative body image again - stop and ask yourself what you're focusing on
Need more help? Here are some resources.
First: Read Compared to Who? and the Burden of Better. If you haven't done this yet, I can think of no better or easier place to start. There's a lot in the book that's not in the Spring Break Free Series.
Second: Consider Signing Up for ReFOCUS21. Next session starts May 17.
Third: Consider Coaching. You can find out more about that here.
