The conversation with my cousin, Dr. David Wall Rice, was very much like him, incredible! David graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and earned a Doctorate in Personality Psychology from Howard University. He earned his Masters degree in Journalism from Columbia University and postdoctoral study at Teachers College, Columbia University.  My little cousin is doing BIG things! He has worked with companies including The Coca-Cola Company, the NFL, Polo by Ralph Lauren, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; and has provided commentary for C-SPAN, NPR, CBS News, CNN, MSNBC. His writings and opinions have appeared in The Washington Post, Vibe Magazine, The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times Magazine among other media outlets. David's writing is also represented in the Cornell Hip Hop Collection as part of the Adler Hip Hop Archive. David explains that his wife, Mikki, has a major role in all that what he has accomplished. She is loving, encouraging, and pushes him to greater heights. Mikki also mother’s their two sons, Biko and Stokely, who are amazing young men in their own rite. The apple does not fall too far from the tree! The Rice family is living life with a purpose. I am Billy Yancey. God is the GOAT!
