MercyMe Debuts Music Video for “Greater” to Enthusiastic Fan Response

MercyMe has unveiled the music video for “Greater,” the second single from the 6.5 million+ selling band’s latest project, Welcome to the New. Peaking at No. 1 on both iTunes Christian sales and SoundScan chart, “Greater” has now spent 11 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard National Christian Audience Chart and nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian AC charts. To take a look at the video:

Video of MercyMe performing and dancing in front of a green screen was placed on top of    vintage black and white footage from old western films, with the band having fun with the theme, decked out in complimentary 'western wear.' Produced by TwoSevenTwo Media and directed by Carl Diebold, the video also features several fun appearances, notably the award-winning Tennessee Rocky Top Review Cloggers. Other special appearances include Ben and Josh Calhoun of Citizen Way on Trumpet and Sax.

With the fun nature the video takes on, fans are responding with enthusiasm:

"I can't get enough of this song. Now I can't get enough of the video! Totally love the joy you bring to worshiping our wonderful God!!!"

"That was a great video! You guys looked like you were having a lot of fun. It is nice to be able to watch a video with my kids."
