Bible Verses about Goodness: Scriptures Quotes on Virtue

What does the Bible say about Goodness?

The Bible tells us that "every good gift.. is from above, coming down from the Father.." (James 1:17) It is from God that all goodness originates and exists in the world. We only have goodness, virtue, and love as creations of God in his image.

Therefore, it is in communion with God we cultivate goodness within ourselves. Let us give thanks for the righteous glory of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit and pray for goodness to enter our hearts and minds.

Here is a collection of Bible verses about goodness, virtue, and righteousness for encouragement to seek what is good and abhor what is evil! May our love for God be genuine and steadfast.
