25 Inspirational Tim Tebow Bible Verses

Tim Tebow proved he was a true evangelist during his college football career when he seized the opportunity to quote scripture in the eye black he was wearing for the game.  His parents call him their "miracle baby" as you may know from the infamous "super bowl commercial" which was in regards to Tim's Mother contemplating abortion and ultimately deciding against it.  His Father remembers praying to God asking "Lord if you want another preacher in this world, give him to me and I'll raise him."  When Tim played for Urban Meyer and the Gators he influenced millions of people with his "eye black bible verses" and he also made covers of magazines and was featured in t.v. shows.  After wearing a verse for the BCS National Championship game, the very next day that verse was searched 94 million times on the internet.  By the end of Tim's college career a new rule had been put in place which became known on the street as the "Tebow" rule, which would prohibit any logos, text, or verses being put in the eye black or on the face.

A lot of Tebow's favorite verses as you will read below all circle around the fact that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are sovereign.  The Holy Trinity being 3 persons, 1 God is hard to understand at times.  I once heard a great explanation which was to think of the "Trinity as being like water", because water can exist as a solid(ice), or a gas(vapor/steam), or as a liquid(water).  The Trinity is Omnipotent, Omniscience, and Omnipresent, which is what I was reminded of while compiling all these verses that have motivated Tebow over his lifetime.  We have 2 different lists for you, first we have the 17 verses Tebow has actually highlighted in his "eye black" over his college career.  Secondly we have a shorter list of 8 bible verses that have influenced and inspired the former Gator and Heisman Trophy Winner.

Conclusion

Tim has been such a great inspiration to me personally which is why I wanted to write this article, and after researching I have discovered Tebow's biblical influence is nothing short of global.  He demonstrates how living in the word every day, every moment can lead to great and otherwise unimaginable things.  I am very excited to see where Tim Tebow will go next and what great impact his character and selflessness will have on the people around him wherever he may go.  Please let the group at F&E know if we missed any of your favorite Tebow "eye black bible verses."  God bless, Jesus is King!

But, when we take an honest look at ourselves and see how God loves us (1 Corinthians 13), we realize we have no right to hold any grudges against our brothers and sisters.
