Forgiveness is a central part of the Christian faith. As we say in the Lord's Prayer, "And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us."

God understands our fallen, sinful nature as humans descendant of Adam of Eve and calls us to seek forgiveness in repentance. Just as God forgives our sins, let us forgive others.
