Country music legend Wynonna Judd took to social to address the concerns some fans raised following her duet performance with rapper Jelly Roll.
Speaking or performing in public is a nightmare scenario for most people. Public speaking is always near the top of the most feared, dreaded activities. Having eyeballs focused on and judging your every move is a scary and frightening thought for most of the population. As it turns out, even seasoned, veteran performers are prone to an episode of stage fright and pre-show jitters every now and then.

During the Country Music Awards, rapper Jelly Roll performed his hit “Need a Favor.” But the performance quickly turned into a duet. About a minute into the song, Wynonna Judd walks out onto the stage, joining and singing the catchy, toe-tapping tune, according to People.
Wynonna and Jelly sound awesome! They had everyone in the audience on their feet, singing and dancing along.

But something did appear to be a little off with Wynonna. As the clip shows, Wynonna walks to the center of the stage and tightly grips Jelly Roll’s jacket. After she latches onto his jacket, she doesn’t let go.
Wynonna’s fans noticed this and went to social to voice their concerns. The country music legend, in a video posted on social media after the show, admitted that she read the comments and concerns about her performance.
She also explained the reason for her actions on stage.
“I read the comments, and I’m just going to come clean with ya’ll,” Wynonna said. “I was so freaking nervous. I got out there, and I looked to Jelly Roll. I wanted it to be so good for him.”

Wynonna said that when she walked out on stage, she “was so nervous” and “held on for dear life, and that’s the bottom line.”
She added despite her nerves when he asked her to join him on stage, she said, “Absolutely.” She mentioned that she is such a “fan of his.”
