One faithful widower visits his wife’s grave every single day to show his love. And it's something he's done more than 1,300 times!
93-year-old WWII veteran, Ted Richardson, makes the trek to his be closer to his wife 6 days a week. The cemetery is located in Honolulu, Hawaii and Ted has to take three different buses just to get there. But it’s all worth it just to be near his beloved.

Ted met Florence when they were just teenagers. But these two lovebirds had to put their romance on hold while Ted went to fight in the war. But he brought along a photo of Florence and kept it close by the entire time.
Once he returned home, the two married and shared 72 wonderful years together on this Earth. This devoted husband said that Florence took care of him his whole life so now it was his time to take care of her. When he visits her grave, Ted grooms the area surrounding the stone, making sure that the grass is trimmed and the headstone is clean. “I owe her that much. For 72 years, she lost her temper only once. In 72 years. And that was my fault.”
Ted has even gone as far as to ask his church to care for the grave after he passes away. This truly showcases the love and care that this couple had for one another. And after visiting her grave over 1300 times, Ted has no plans to slow down anytime soon.
"I'll keep going for as long as I can go. God will tell me when I've had enough."
