Two Great Surprise Adoptions Will Bring The Tears
Adoption is one of the most beautiful things in the world. Seeing a family decide to open their hearts and homes to love a child who needs a home is such a true image of love. No matter how many times I watch a video of a child being adopted my heart overflows. There is something about adoption that truly reflects the inclusive love of Jesus Christ. And these two adoptions are some of the greatest around. credit: facebook.com Shane and Kasi Pruitt have four beautiful children and wanted to continue to grow their family through adoption. For over a year they waited to adopt a baby girl and finally got the call they could go pick her up. So they left while their other 4 kids were sleeping so they could wake up to the greatest surprise, a baby sister. And when you see their reactions you can’t help but smile and tear-up. credit: facebook.com credit: facebook.com Then there is the adoption surprise for Janielle and Elijah. The siblings found their forever family in Tom and Courtney Gilmour and were waiting for the adoption to become official. So when the family was on a trip to Walt Disney World, Tom and Courtney saw the opportunity to make the trip a little more magical by surprising them with their adoption date. During a photo opportunity with Mickey Mouse, the great folks at Walt Disney helped pull off the incredible surprise. Just look at the reaction on these two faces when they find out they are officially going to be Gilmours. credit: facebook.com These have to be two of the sweetest adoptions I’ve ever seen. Who else was bursting?

It’s easy to take offense when someone hurts you, or you’re frustrated with where you are in life, and it seems as though everyone around you is thriving. But, when we take an honest look at ourselves and see how God loves us (1 Corinthians 13), we realize we have no right to hold any grudges against our brothers and sisters.
