Imagine this - twin sisters, both pregnant, and both delivering on their birthday, and guess what. They both gave birth to daughters. Crazy!

The date was October 29 and both sisters had turned 33.

The sisters were Amber Tramontana and Autum Shaw. Each was in her own room at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Their rooms were side by side.

After the first sister gave birth, an hour and a half later, the other sister gave birth.

“Autum delivered and we were able to hear a faint cry,” Amber shared. “My husband knocked on the wall as a way of saying congratulations. Ninety minutes later, we deliver and they returned the same knock.

Amber and her husband Jim gave birth to Blakely James at 6pm. Blakely weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces. The other twin, Amber, and her husband Scott gave birth to Charleston Scott. Their child weighed 9 pounds and 4 ounces.

The twins were not planning on being pregnant at the same time, but such was the blessing. Autum struggled with infertility problems after having her first child. Still, fate would have that the two share a very intimate and inspiring experience together and on their birthday of all days.

Dr. George Vick delivered Autum’s first child and delivered both sisters’ children this time too.

"There was all this waiting and heartbreak ... now I look at this bigger picture and God had a bigger plan,” Autum said.
