Francesca Battistelli is an amazing singer and songwriter. She is signed to Fervent Records and has release 4 studio albums with them, one being a Christmas album. Prior to Fervent Records she released her first album “Just A Breath” independently back in 2004. She has a great sound that you would hear in a coffee shop. Her songs are happy, sad, deep, emotional and fun, all wrapped up in Jesus! Here are my top 10 Francesca Battistelli songs! Enjoy!
Favorite Lyric – “This is the stuff that gets under my skin, but I've gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing. Might not be what I would choose, but this is the stuff You use to break me of impatience; conquer my frustrations. I've got a new appreciation. It's not the end of the world.”
Favorite Lyric – “This is a giant leap of faith, trusting and trying to embrace the fear of the unknown beyond my comfort zone.”
Favorite Lyric – “Before I was a thought on earth, You knew me then and You gave me worth. When all of this is said and done, You will be the One I'm standing on.”
Favorite Lyric – “Nothing in this world could ever separate us. I will love You more than anyone on earth. Nothing I desire could ever satisfy me the way that You do.”
Favorite Lyric – “'Cause I got a couple dents in my fender. Got a couple rips in my jeans. Try to fit the pieces together, but perfection is my enemy. And on my own, I'm so clumsy. But on Your shoulders I can see I'm free to be me.”
Favorite Lyric – “I don't know, I don't know what tomorrow may hold. But I know, but I know that You're holding it all. So no matter what may come, I'm gonna fix my eyes on all that You are till every doubt I feel deep in my heart grows strangely dim. Let all my worries fade and fall to the ground. I'm gonna seek Your face and not look around till the place I'm in grows strangely dim.”
Favorite Lyric – “I'm an empty page, I'm an open book. Write Your story on my heart. Come on and make Your mark. Author of my hope, Maker of the stars, let me be Your work of art. Won't You write Your story on my heart?”
Favorite Lyric – “Don't know how it is You looked at me and saw the person that I could be. Awakening my heart, breaking through the dark, suddenly Your grace like sunlight burning at midnight, making my life something so beautiful, beautiful. Mercy reaching to save me, all that I need, You are so beautiful, beautiful.”
Favorite Lyric – “I'm not meant to just stay quiet. I'm meant to be a lion! I'll roar beyond a song with every moment that I've got! True to who You are, You saw my heart and made something out of nothing.”
This whole song is beautiful and has brought me to tears, so please enjoy these lyrics from the whole song!
Diamond ring and twelve red roses
Everything she ever wanted, all those dreams
And now they're finally here
She's so young and he's so perfect
They waited for love and it was worth it
She wants to feel like this for a hundred years
All this life still yet to live and they can hardly wait
They can laugh, they can cry
The future looks so beautiful and bright
They can dance under the moonlight
'Cause God is smiling down on them tonight
And she wants to stay right here
They can last for a hundred more years
She's got blue eyes just like her mother
Three years old, he's crazy for her
He wants to freeze this day before it disappears
She's spinning like a little princess
Making sure he's gonna notice
He could watch her twirl for a hundred years
She'll grow up and she'll leave home
But until that day they can laugh, they can cry
The future looks so beautiful and bright
They can dance under the moonlight
'Cause God is smiling down on them tonight
And he wants to stay right here
They can last for a hundred more years
And it's only time but it flies right by
And today is sweeter than we know
And so they dance under the moonlight
While God is smiling down on them tonight
And they want to stay right here
For a hundred more years
