The Rock Surprises 100-Year-Old Fan By Singing Her Happy Birthday

One grandma got the surprise of a lifetime when the Rock sang Happy Birthday to her on her 100th birthday!

Normally, when we think of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, we picture the super tough action movie star. But off-screen, this talented actor has a much softer side.

Dwayne started off as a wrestler for the WWE, but as the years went on, he made the transition to a successful movie career. Some of his blockbuster hits include Disney’s Moana, The Scorpion King and The Fast and Furious films.

Grandma Marie Grover has been following The Rock’s career for decades and is one of his biggest fans. As her 100th birthday approached, Marie’s wanted to pull out all the stops. That’s when she enlisted the help of her publicist friend to try and contact The Rock for a special birthday message.

The Rock Shares A Special Birthday Surprise

After a posting on Twitter, Dwayne personally responded writing, “What?? First I’m hearing of this! Who’s turning 100? Beautiful age! What do you need, Jamie?”

That’s when this kind-hearted celebrity recorded a video of himself singing Happy Birthday to Marie with some heartfelt words at the end.

When the 100-year-old grandma saw the video, she was overcome with excitement. A huge smile spreads across her face as she listens to The Rock wish her well.

“I’m sending you so much love and huge congratulations on 100 years. What an amazing life.”
