The 35-year-old singer Marcelito Pomoy shot to fame as the grand winner of season two of Pilipinas Got Talent. He has a unique gift where he can sing in both the male and female vocal range.

This incredibly rare talent helped him breeze through the competition and earn a record deal.

Today, he’s back on the big stage as a contestant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

This popular competition features over 40 acts from all over the globe. The list of contenders includes past winners, finalists, and fan-favorites.

Because of this, Marcelito knew the competition would be fierce. So, in his performance of 'The Prayer', Marcelito Pomoy pulled out all the stops.

‘The Prayer’ was written in both English and Italian for artists Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli to sing solo. But it was their incredible duet performance that truly propelled the song into the classic that it is today.

Marcelito Pomoy decided to sing both parts of 'The Prayer' duet and it was completely awe-inspiring.

Just listen as he belts out the tenor and soprano vocal arrangements. The performance earned a standing ovation and rave reviews from the judges.

Alesha Dixon said, “I want to see something different, something unique. And Marcelito, you just gave that to us. It was absolutely brilliant.”

Even though Marcelito did not earn the golden buzzer, the super fans voted him through to the next round.
