The Heavier The Cross, The Better? Ask God For THIS And He's Sure To Answer You BIG TIME!

The Heavier The Cross, The Better? Ask God For THIS And He's Sure To Answer You BIG TIME!

Here's a prayer that will get God's attention.

This preacher has a message for ALL to hear! His words will resonate in your head for days to follow hearing his challenge. Take just 2 minutes to watch this video and then ask yourself, "Is the cross I'm carrying heavy or easy?" And if and when you feel inadequate to do as God prompts you, well that's OK. That's right where God wants you...leaning on HIM to accomplish what He's asking of us. WOW - this is really, really good!

"As Christians, many of us have fought hard to make our lives safe, predictable, and comfortable. We haven’t been afraid in a long time, and the presence and power of God hasn’t rested on us in a long time. When God calls you to do something, be afraid because it is going to be beyond your ability to do it. You will not find the words “pick up your cross and be comfortable” anywhere in the Bible. The life you are looking for is not found in safety and comfort. It is found in saying, “God push me to do something that I cannot possibly do.” God will answer that prayer."

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?"  Matthew 16:24

This preacher is right on target as he expresses the challenge with carrying the cross for Christ. It's not meant to be easy. When God asks you to do something for HIM, He will provide you with the skills you need. He will give you the perseverance, the strength, the courage and the words. All He asks is "will you pick up the cross and follow me?"
