Skydiver Korey Fisher is alive today after surviving a 200-foot fall in 2017 following a mid-air collision with another skydiver. And Korey says his inspiring survivor story is all because of Jesus!
In an interview with CBN News, Korey Fisher said that he first began following God in 2011. Korey gave skydiving a try as a way of building a closer relationship with the Heavenly Father, as well as to help gain more self-confidence.

"I thought to myself 'This is closer to what I imagine God wants us to live like', this – experiencing this, uh being alive. It's about being alive," he explained.
Korey eventually became a certified skydiving instructor. But in November 2017, one dive went horribly wrong.
After the fateful jump in 2017, Korey and another skydiver collided mid-air.
"I only saw the individual for about half a second before the collision, in that half a second I literally remember thinking, 'I'm dead.' I just remember accepting it. There was nothing I could do."
Both skydivers fell more than 200 feet before hitting the ground. By the grace of God, both survived.
“I tried to move and couldn't, and then passed back out,” Korey Fisher recalled. “The next thing I know they're putting me in a helicopter, but it was evident I was dying.”
First responders rushed Korey to a nearby hospital with a broken neck, 12 broken ribs, and massive internal injuries.
"They told us that there had been an accident that he had been catastrophically injured and that we needed to come to the hospital right away,” Korey’s mom Ria said.
Korey survived the night. But doctors warned Korey's parents of the strong possibility that their son would be paralyzed because of the skydiving accident.
"God gave us the peace from the very beginning not to panic. Not to go into a circular thought process that you can all go through when you're in a traumatic situation,” Korey Fisher’s dad, Terry, said.

Despite all odds, the 200-foot fall didn't leave Korey paralyzed. The news astounded his doctors. In fact, spinal surgeon Said Elshihabi can still remember the trauma doctor’s disbelief when he relayed the news to him.
“And the trauma doctor, his words were specifically, ‘you won’t believe it, but he’s moving everything’,” the surgeon recalled.
God was the one in control of this skydiver's outcome!
The doctors may have been amazed. But Korey Fisher knows exactly why he's still here today -- Jesus!
Korey prayed before his surgery and again as he went to a rehabilitation hospital.
"Not only did Jesus save my life, but my recovery was supernaturally graced as well,” he proclaimed. “It's completely a miracle. No-no doubt about it. No doubt about it."
God healed Korey completely. He's even back to working as a skydiving instructor!
What makes Korey Fisher's story so inspiring is the hope and the promise it provides for all of us.
"If He can supernaturally change a human being falling out the sky's situation, to not die, to not be paralyzed, to override physical limitations of the human body when striking the ground, He can handle all of the things in my life that I'm not in control of. To give me my life back completely, uninhibited by anything, is overwhelming to me," Korey shared.

And Korey's miraculous healing isn't just impacting his faith, but also the faith of those around him.
"What it made me realize is that I can trust God," Korey's mom says, "that He will answer my prayers."
Our God is the God of miracles. And that is just as true today and tomorrow as it was yesterday!
