Sean Connery’s wife, Micheline Roqubrune, says that she wants to honor her husband by taking his ashes to be scattered back in his homeland.
“We are going to bring Sean back to Scotland. That was his final wish,” Micheline said, who was married to the actor for 45 years. “He wanted his ashes to be scattered in the Bahamas and also in his homeland."

As soon as the coronavirus travel restrictions allow this to happen, the family intends to make the trip to Scotland together. “Whenever it is possible and safe to travel again, then it is the family’s intention to return to Scotland with him,” shared Micheline. “We would like to organize a memorial service for him in Scotland – that is our hope. But we cannot say when this will happen exactly."
The Bond legend passed away during the night on October 31 at his home in the Bahamas. He was 90 years old.
Sean and Micheline’s sons, Jason and Stephane, shared that their father passed away peacefully and surrounded by family. But Jason went on to explain that his dad had been “unwell for some time.”

“We are all working at understanding this huge event as it only happened so recently, even though my dad has been unwell for some time," Jason shared. "A sad day for all who knew and loved my dad and a sad loss for all people around the world who enjoyed the wonderful gift he had as an actor."
May God by with Sean Connery’s loved ones while they are grieving his passing.
