It is always a surprise when someone wins the lottery, but when these newlyweds bought a scratch-off lottery ticket, they never expected to hit the jackpot. However, that's exactly what happened and this unexpected gift came at the perfect moment for this couple.
Have you ever dreamed of winning big? Maybe you hoped to be that name drawn in the contest or the correct number called in bingo? The truth is that many people never win the lottery, but on the flip side, someone has to win.

Just like it is never too late for love, it is never too late to win the lottery. A 57-year-old Michigan-based man bought his new wife a Diamonds & Pearl ticket the day after they tied the knot.
“I bought the ticket the day after my wedding and gave it to my wife to scratch,” he said.
However, he and his wife "were in disbelief" when the ticket revealed they happened to be the winners of a one-million-dollar prize.

The two decided to invest their new fortune.
Thinking about winning the lottery gets people so excited. There is a thrill in imagining what it must have been like for these newlyweds. However, we so often forget that our salvation is even better than a million dollars.
We have been given the ultimate gift in Jesus. We have been chosen for Heaven, and we do not have to do anything to earn that “lottery,” we simply receive it and believe Him in His Word with our mouths and hearts.
As we reflect on this truth, may we celebrate that we are winners today. We are winners in Christ always.
