Several people came together to help an animal in need in central Florida.
A team of 28 biologists worked together to free a dolphin that found itself living in a residential creek, according to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA).

The aquarium says that workers climbed in and stood near one another, forming a chain. The purpose of this human chain was to help guide the lone dolphin to safety and more open waters. The chain created both a visual and sound barrier for the animal, according to WTSP in Tampa Bay.
Video of the biologists in action, shows them standing and splashing in the water as the dolphin swims in the other opposite direction. The video from the aquarium also shows their jubilation when the dolphin exits the creek. But it didn’t come without some momentary anxiety.
“And for a second, we were worried that maybe it had broken our line of people,” said Brittany Baldrica, a senior rescue biologist with CMA.
Brittany goes on to detail the exact moment when she saw the dolphin had left the creek.

“He actually made a quick turnaround, thought about it for a second and then as we looked through the bridge, we could see him displacing water with his dorsal fin. And then just on the other side of the bridge, we saw his dorsal fin come up. “
Someone in the video excitedly states that "he went through!" Others in the video clap and cheer in delight.
Biologists had actually been monitoring the animal for a few weeks before the rescue. Neighbors in the area informed the aquarium about the animal on New Year’s Day, according to Fox 13.
The dolphin was not hurt or in danger or harassed by people in the area during its isolation, WTSP reports.
The biologists decided to act in order to protect the animal from “potential long-term problems for the animal.” Their fears included its isolation from other dolphins and possible harassment from humans.
Praise the Lord! It’s always a good and wonderful thing to help one of God’s many precious creatures.
