Country icon Randy Travis sings a Christmas song with newcomer Drew Parker. And this special duet of ‘There’s A New Kid In Town’ is one you're going to want to add to your Christmas playlist, for sure!
This Keith Whitley Christmas song was originally recorded for Randy’s 1989 holiday album, An Old Time Christmas. Unfortunately, it was left unreleased after other tracks were selected.

In 2021, Randy Travis decided to create a deluxe version of the album and include this previously unheard Christmas song. But to make it even more special, he invited Drew Parker to lend his voice to this iconic Christmas tune.
“We're looking for The King, the new Messiah
We're following the star, shining brighter
Old man won't you help us if you can
He shook his head but he pointed his hand”
The music video was filmed on Randy’s own ranch in Texas. Drew spoke to CMT about the moving experience. “Driving around the property and getting to take in all of God’s creation with one of my heroes. It was a very special day and one I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”

You can truly feel the emotion as the duo rides around the ranch with family and friends nearby.
“There's a new kid in town and he's lying in a manger down the road
There's a new kid in town, but he's just another baby I suppose
Heaven knows
There's a new kid in town, Here in Bethlehem”
Randy Travis is an icon in the country music world and it’s wonderful to watch old and new come together for this beautiful Christmas classic.
