God's perfect timing was never more evident than in Missy Hawes' backyard. The doting grandma was enjoying the nice day on the porch with her granddaughter when she noticed the toddler was staring off at something very intently. What happened next made this grandma a true hero! Read on to learn how this grandma saves toddler from bear attack!
Missy and her grandbaby Blake were outside getting some fresh air when Blake began staring very earnestly at something. Curious, Missy turned to see what had grabbed baby Blake's attention. And what she saw sent terror up her spine.

The hidden home security camera captured what happened next. You can see the look of fear cross Missy's face as the danger registers with her. She let out a loud scream and then she quickly scoops up baby Blake and rushes her indoors to safety.
"And then I really turned and looked, and the bear — you can’t really tell from the video, but the bear was less than 10 feet away — so I just had to scoop her up and scream and run into the house," Missy told KTLA.
“I think [Blake] was more frightened when I screamed than actually seeing the bear because the bear made no noise whatsoever.” Missy continued.

Thank God for this grandma's quick-thinking! She screamed loudly, which scared the bear into running away. And the whole time, she was quickly moving her beloved grandbaby into the house and to safety.
