Police Officer Pulls Over 2-Year-Old In Toy Car

Being a police officer is a tough job. I think we can all agree, it takes courage and enormous bravery to be the one protecting our streets and neighborhoods. BUT it doesn't mean that they don't have a sense of humor. My story below proves my point.

Sweet, little 2-year-old Jaxon Arbuckle was minding his own business driving along in his toy car when his mom, Ashley, decided to have some fun. A police officer was nearby finishing a report on a fender-bender when Ashley presented her plan.

Ashley thought it would be cute if this officer would "pull over" her little Jaxon making 1) a cute story; 2) an adorable photo-op for the police officer and her son.

Officer Bill Mayo complied. It looks like he was having fun, too!

Officer Mayo, after completing his accident report, drove over to Jaxon's street with lights on and everything in hot pursuit of this adorable 2-year-old!

And...how sweet is this...Jaxon pulled his Little Tikes red car over and waited for the police officer to explain the situation. Jaxon thought this was AWESOME!! {Don't you wish, as an adult, we too thought it was awesome when a police officer pulled us over??}

Regardless, Jaxon made a new friend and Officer Mayo taught a little boy to not fear the police, but to see them as friends - there to help in time of need.

Before Officer Mayo left, Jaxon gave him a big hug and a high five!

Thank you, Officer Mayo, for the work you do keeping our community safe. We appreciate your long hours and your willingness to put yourself in harm's way to protect me and our family. Blessings to you and yours!
