One man’s nap turned into his wife’s good fortune! Here’s how a sleeping husband became a viral sensation after his wife snapped a few pics.
Jocelyn May Jazareno Caday runs an online boutique called Jo’s Online Shoppe. With these pandemic days being so odd and uncertain, she’s had to adapt in how she markets for her company. And one way she pivoted was both business savvy and downright hilarious.

And her husband can claim he had a part in her success, even though he was quite literally asleep on the job!
One day Jocelyn saw her husband in a very convenient position and the idea hit her. She laid an outfit she had for sale on top of him, took pictures, and posted her husband’s modeling debut online.
This was clearly a bizarre marketing experiment (and her hubby must sleep like a rock!)
But her experimenting worked!
The sight of her husband unknowingly being dressed up is hilarious, to say the least. She has captured him adorned in a number of floral designs, skirts, dresses, pants, and tops.
Let’s be honest, he’s quite the model, not very expressive, but he gets the job done.
She wrote online on her Facebook page, “No mannequin? No problem...Effort is the key,” and adds, “Hahaha this is the trend now on how to sell.”
Online shopping has largely replaced the in-person alternative during these times of quarantine. This has affected businesses in countries worldwide. In-person movie theaters have given way to online streaming services. Weddings and even funeral services are occurring online for many.
While we don’t know what tomorrow holds, we can be grateful for the present day and make the most of what we have. Life is short, and sometimes adversity makes us adapt. Jocelyn’s creative success story can encourage us to find comedic ways to get through the trying times. They do not last forever.
