Today, Patricia Richardson of 'Home Improvement' Has a Whole New Look That Has Fans Stunned

Patricia Richardson today looks quite different from when she played family matriarch Jill Taylor on the 1990s sitcom “Home Improvement.” But fans show support for her new look after she shares it on social media.

Back in October, Patricia shared a relatable photo on Instagram of her new pandemic hairstyle. She had stopped coloring her hair a chestnut brown and let her grays start coming in.

"You look wonderful with that hairstyle. Wish you all the best in this difficult time and stay healthy," wrote one fan online. Someone else encouraged Patricia to "keep it all white."

Patricia Richardson Today Looks Very Different From How Fans Remember Her

We think that Patricia looks great, and like Proverbs 16:31 says, “gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness.”

Sadly, Patricia shares that there have been times in the past when the media has scrutinized her looks.

"[The tabloids] said, for instance, that the producers made me keep the weight on, and I was just like, 'How are they making me keep the weight on? Do they come to my house and force feed me?'" she said in an interview. Patricia had recently given birth to twins before she started filming “Home Improvement.”

"What was great was that the producers were like, 'We don't care,'" Patricia shared. "I was like, 'I am working hard to try to lose the weight,' and they were like, 'We don't care, look like whatever you like, you look real, we don't care.'"

What a good reminder that our outward appearance is not where we should find our worth, but it is the beauty within us that is worth far more in God’s sight.

1 Peter 3:3-4
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
