have had some pretty incredible moments. But the most impressive thing to me is how many of the athletes are proudly proclaiming their faith in Jesus Christ. And Olympic Runner Wayde van Niekerk is no exception. After shattering the 400m record, he didn't hesitate to place all of the credit right where it belonged -- with our Lord and Savior!

Wayde tries hard to honor God in all he does. And running is no exception! He even revealed how he used a marker to write “Jesus I am all yours, use me” on his running shoes!
The humble athlete also tweeted his appreciation and praise after the race.
While everyone can't stop talking about Wayde's amazing win, it's awesome to see that he can't stop talking about the REAL reason for his success!
"I asked the Lord to carry me through the race and I am really just blessed for this opportunity."
Our congratulations go out to Wayde. We can't wait to see what other amazing things God has in-store for this faithful Christian!
