Molly Hughes was just four months old when she was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. Her parents were told that she may not make it to the age of 2. But this little sweetheart is a fighter and she even went through 130 days of chemo treatment in the hospital. Even when the treatments drained her of energy and her appetite, Molly continued to battle.
Finally, 15 months after her diagnosis, Molly’s parents received the phone call they had been waiting on. Doctors announced the toddler was officially in remission!
It was a joyous occasion for everyone and Molly’s mother, Chelsea, expressed her happiness online saying, “Our God is SO good!!! Thank you all for the prayers!!!!”
Now, Chelsea is sharing a sweet video from Molly’s last day of chemo treatment. And it’s enough to move anyone to tears.
Just watch as hospital staff surrounds Molly. The nurses sing the cutest song to the little girl about the end of her treatment.
It is performed to the tune of ‘The Macarena’ and it’s such a special way to mark this happy occasion. There are even bubbles at the very end!
