Natasha Bure Defends Mom,Candace Cameron Bure, & Praises Her for 'Always Choosing Christ'

The daughter of “Fuller House” actress Candace Cameron Bure has come out swinging, defending her mother from “vile” attacks.

Hollywood is a place and an industry where saying and doing the “right” things are valued and appreciated. But anyone who steps out from those accepted Hollywood norms can usually expect attacks. As such, Hollywood actress and Christian Candace Cameron Bure has received her fair share of attacks.

Now, Candace’s daughter, 24-year-old Natasha Bure has come to her defense, according to BeliefNet.

In a post on Instagram, the young woman praised the Lord for blessing her with “the best parents I could’ve asked for” and for “raising us up in the word of God and bringing glory to HIS name.”

Natasha went on to write that she loves her mother and thanked Candace for “continuously choosing Christ before all.”

In her post, Natasha blasted the media for their attacks on her mother.

“The media is an absolutely VILE space for negativity and I applaud you every time for how you handle yourself with the utmost grace,” Natasha wrote. “As they continuously twist the narrative to beat down on the Kingdom, you stand firm in faith and never let others dim your light for Him.”

BeliefNet reports the Instagram post comes after Candace announced she was leaving the Hallmark Channel. She said she was going to Great American Family Channel (GAF). The Hallmark Channel had recently featured gay and lesbian couples in their made-for-TV films.

In announcing her switch to the GAF, Candace stated, “I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

Many called out Candace for her move, including fellow actress Hilarie Burton. Hilarie, in a post on Twitter, called Candace a “bigot.”

“I don’t remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy. But sure. Making your money, honey. You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank,” Hilarie wrote.
