Lung Transplant Recipient Sings With The Daughter Of Her Donor

In 2012, Charity Tillemann-Dick received a life-saving double lung transplant. Charity is a talented opera singer and after her body rejected her first transplant, she didn't think she would live, let alone sing. Doctors warned her that singing could be incredibly dangerous. But Charity knew her life would be nothing without music.

Today, Charity is stepping back on stage with her lung donor's 24-year-old daughter, Esperanza Tufani. Together, they're performing a powerful duet to Charity's original song "American Rainbow." Esperanza always wished to sing with her mother and now she has the opportunity in a very special way.

Just a moment listening to this sweet song and your heart will be full of love. The kindness of strangers can truly change lives. Get out the tissues, because this is touching!
