Woman Plays Husband's Lottery Dream Numbers After She's Laid Off And Wins $60 Million

One man’s lottery dream numbers amounted to the $60 million fortune for his wife. And surprisingly, the winning numbers came to him 20 years ago.

More surprising, the money came at the perfect time. Deng Pravatoudom lost her job among millions of others during the coronavirus pandemic. The 57-year-old found herself unemployed and low on cash.

Since her husband first dreamt of those winning numbers 20 years ago, Deng has been playing those same digits ever since. 20 years of playing the same numbers, and finally the numbers won through a Lotto Max ticket.

Her husband, Dong Truong, had numbers that were made up of important dates like family birthdays.

Astonishingly, the couple didn’t step forward for 10 months to claim their prize.

"I left my temple after prayers, went to a nearby mall for some errands and to check my Lotto Max ticket. I won a Free Play ticket and added Encore - I couldn't believe a few days later that free ticket would be worth $60 million!" Deng shared.

Dong discovered their ticket was a winner and rushed to tell his wife.

"My husband and I have worked as general laborers for over 40 years, trying to save what we could for our family," Deng shared.

"Due to the pandemic I was laid off last spring, so this money will certainly help make our lives much easier."

The couple immigrated to Canada from Laos, and have been sponsored by a church along with other family members. They have two children and two grandchildren.

They have already been making plans for what to do next with the money. The couple plan to pay off debts and bless family members. And they hope to travel.
