Police officers have a very stressful job. They risk their lives to protect our communities without ever being sure if they will ever see their families again. Rosalyn recognizes that and has made it her duty to make sure police officers know that they are appreciated.

Aside from the fact that she has family members who serve in law enforcement, she was moved after hearing about the police officers who were killed in Dallas recently. It touched her so much and she knew that giving a simple hug will be her way of showing how thankful she is for their service. Her parents thought that she just wanted to hug them out of spur-of-the-moment emotion, but the more officers she visited, the more she wanted to hug.
