There always seems to be something extra powerful about a performance done on ice. And this video starts with a large projection of previous skates and competitions of Kurt through the years.

We see Kurt in his 80s best, doing flips and twists. He is absolutely incredible at his sport. What he has been able to accomplish is such excitement and athleticism.
Kurt Browning has portrayed many personas in his years of figure skating. This is his farewell “Stars on Ice.” The performance is emotional thinking about how this is his final time in front of a live audience before his retirement.
He enters the rink older and grayer, but as strong and graceful as ever. He has such poise and elegance in his skates. The music is compelling and exciting as we see him invite others onto the ice rink.

He begins to tell a story of his year of learning and growing as an artist. The next generation follow his lead and copy his moves. It is as if he is telling his life as a skater through the classes, the duets, and the years that he has had within his sport all in one song.
Looking back on our own years of life can be very emotional and celebratory. We remember the incredible things that we have been able to be a part of, as well as God’s lessons for us in the trials and the hardships. As we watch Kurt and the group perform, we see the larger picture of his impact of multiplication as a figure skater.
As we ponder the impact that we want to make on this world, we think about the beauty of sharing the gospel of Christ and multiplying our faith. We are called to imitate Jesus and share His hope of the gospel with the world. He receives all the glory for our lives.
