Kari Jobe Songs: Top 11 of All Time

Kari Brooke Jobe, Christian musician singer and songwriter, has been growing in popularity over the past few years. In 2009 she released her first album and she continues to release new music each year. She has popular remakes as well as popular singles she has written.

The following is a list of the Top 11 Kari Jobe Songs of All Time:

11. Everyone Needs A Little

Favorite Lyric: “Come all ye weary and ye broken. Come to the table of the Lord. Come sing the song of the forgiven. Come lay your burden on the word.”

Each day it is encouraging to know our God gives us rest, He carries the had things if we carry our cross (Matthew 16:24). It may not be an easy journey but a weight will be lifted from our lives and we can serve our Maker in freedom!

Scripture: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”(Matthew 11:28)

10. Here

Favorite Lyric: “You’ll find his healing. You’re heart isn't shattered anymore. He is Here.”

Similar to the favorite lyric I selected from “Everyone Needs A Little”, God is calling us to come rest in Him for he is near. He isn’t far way off in the distance, He is here –right with us.

Scripture: “I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.”(Psalm 16:8)

9. Holy Spirit

Favorite Lyric: “Holy Spirit, You are welcome here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for–to be overcome by Your presence, Lord.”

Often the Holy Spirit is the “Forgotten God”as Francis Chan put it. When we invite the Holy Spirit to take fill the places we are at the glory of God will be shown more brightly through Christ living in us.

8. What Love Is This

Favorite Lyric: “You never change, you are the God you say you are. When I'm afraid you calm and still my beating heart. You stay the same, when hope is just a distant thought, You take my pain, and you lead me to the cross.”

Thankfully God never changes. He is consistent, caring, and constant. This song really is a devotional prayer to our God when we are weak, wounded, and worried. Give it a listen to be reminded of the love we have in Christ.

Scripture: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”(Hebrews 13:8 ESV)

7. We Exalt Your Name

Favorite Lyric: “Spirit come and change the atmosphere. Convict and open hearts here. The anthems that the angels sing. The worship of the King of kings.”

The Holy Spirit convicts and opens hearts. This song really reminded me of that and I hope it reminds you of the same.

6. Keeper of My Heart

Favorite Lyric: “I lift my eyes up. Maker of the Heavens. Keeper of my heart. I lift my hands up. Standing in Your presence. You are never far.”

The Lord watches over us and he is never far away. He is the God with us. Our help is the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Scripture: “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”(Psalm 121:1-2 ESV)

5. Savior’s Here

Favorite Lyric: “You bring hope, You bring life. Awaken hearts open eyes. With our voices hear them rise. We call these dry bones to come alive. You are faithful, You are truth we can always run to.”

Everyday I try to pray, “God open my eyes to see what you’d have me see today.”As He answers that prayer he awakens my heart, I am given life and realize how faithful He is.

4. Forever

Favorite Lyric: “The ground began to shake. The stone was rolled away. His perfect love could not be overcome. Now death where is your sting. Our resurrected King has rendered you defeated.”

When we are shaken we can know that God has it all under control and he has defeated death!

Scripture: “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”(1 Corinthians 15:55 ESV)

3. Revelation Song

Favorite Lyrics: “Filled with wonder awestruck wonder at the mention of Your name. Jesus Your name is power, breath and living water. Such a marvelous mystery.”

As believers we serve the mighty God. The great I Am. The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. At the mention of His name eventually, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:11).

Scripture: “And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!” (Revelation 4:8)

2. O The Blood

Favorite Lyric: “O the blood of jesus washes me. O the blood of Jesus shed for me. What a sacrifice that saved my life, Yes the blood it is my victory.”

Jesus blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We have victory over death because His blood was shed for us.

Scripture: “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”(1 John 1:7)

1. Steady My Heart

Favorite Lyric: “Even when it hurts, even when it's hard, even when it all just falls apart. I will run to You 'cause I know that You are. Lover of my soul, Healer of my scars, You steady my heart.”

We need to be honest with God because He already knows when we are happy or when we are hurt. He knows when we are walking with Him or walking away from Him. He heals hurts, cures broken hearts and fills our life with love.

Scripture: “O LORD, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.”(Psalm 139:1-4 ESV)

With so many songs by Kari Jobe you really cannot go wrong with any of them. Kari will be releasing additional music and I’m sure this list could be adjusted then. Please pray for Kari Jobe as she continues her music ministry.

Today's Devotional

A Prayer for Unity in the Church This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 22

It’s easy to take offense when someone hurts you, or you’re frustrated with where you are in life, and it seems as though everyone around you is thriving. But, when we take an honest look at ourselves and see how God loves us (1 Corinthians 13), we realize we have no right to hold any grudges against our brothers and sisters.
