Julie McCabe took on the role of stay-at-home mother to care for her young son. Julie sang all the time before his birth. But life with a toddler gets busy. So the devoted mom put her dreams on hold.

Then, recently, doctors diagnosed Julie's son with Autism. And accepting that reality hasn't been easy.
But, this courageous mom decided to focus on positivity. So she started singing again.
Now, Julie McCabe's soulful voice brings her all the way to the stage of Ireland's Got Talent. And in her heartfelt audition, she belts out the words of ‘When We Were Young’ from acclaimed artist Adele.
“Let me photograph you in this light
In case it is the last time
That we might be exactly like we were
Before we realized
We were sad of getting old
It made us restless
It was just like a movie
It was just like a song”
Julie performs the song flawlessly. And as the camera pans to Julie's parents backstage, you see they are overcome with emotion. Watching their daughter living out her dreams brings them to tears. What an emotional moment!
Covering a song from a singer as iconic as Adele is never easy. But Julie handles the challenge with grace, impressing the judges and crowd alike.
