Woman About To Abort Accepted Jesus And Got Married Instead

Woman Gets Saved And Married Instead Of Aborting

A woman called "J" had a whirlwind of a week. Desperate and prepared to abort her unborn baby, she ran into pro-life advocate Vicky Kaseorg outside the abortion clinic. And through God's amazing work, J accepted Jesus Christ and got married instead of aborting. And all in the same week! godupdates woman gets saved and married instead of aborting fb Credit: Vicky Kaseorg Vicky Kaseorg is a sidewalk counselor for pro-life organization Cities4Life. She was outside an abortion clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina when she met J. J and her boyfriend of 11 years already have 4 living children and one in Heaven. After finding out she was pregnant, she felt like abortion was her only option.
"Honestly, she faced some of the most difficult circumstances anyone could face with a new baby on the way," Vicky said.
But instead of aborting, God revealed much bigger plans for J and her family!

A Life-Changing Meeting

While Vicky did not share any specifics on what those circumstances were, she says God provided a network of supporters to help address every obstacle J faced. And more than just worldly issues, Vicky helped lead J to a decision with eternal importance -- accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior!
"She chose life for her baby, then chose to ask Jesus to be Lord of her life, was convicted of the need to obey God in all things," Vicky said.

It's something the couple always planned to do, but just never got around to it. But after turning their lives of to Jesus, they both recognized the urgent need for commitment.
"It's time, and how can God bless us if we don't follow Him in this?" J asked Vicky.

Coming Together

Planning a wedding so quickly is no easy task. To make matters worse, J's boyfriend worked brutal hours. It didn't look like there'd be any way for him to take time off for the ceremony or honeymoon. But then, everything just fell into place.

A Wedding To Remember

A pastor friend of Vicky's just so happened to be in town, and agreed to officiate the wedding. J found the perfect dress and shoes at a consignment shop. As for a ring, Vicky had the perfect solution.
"I had already snagged a beautiful ring from home that I never wear and had found years ago. I kept it, thinking one day God would reveal who I could bless with that lovely ring."
And as for the groom's schedule? Sudden technological issues landed him with an unexpected day off. And so, he and J got married on that day! "This is a hard working couple, but circumstances beyond their control had landed them in rough waters. . . They were so grateful and so happy," Vicky wrote. "That beaming woman was a completely different lady than the one I met Monday, depressed, despairing and hopeless at the abortion center."
The stunning change that took place in such a short period of time is a testament to just how amazingly God works. Once you accept Him into your life, He can truly use anything for good! "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
