A homemade bumper sticker makes a major impact on another person’s life.

People would not necessarily believe that a homemade bumper sticker could be a matter of life and death. However, this picture proves otherwise. God is able to use even the most mundane items to get our attention.

A 22-year-young woman named Brooke Lacey intentionally put this bumper sticker on her car as an encouragement to others. This New Zealand native has wrestled with depression in her own life and decided to use her car as a mode of not only transportation but hope.

Matilda Rudd from Daily Mail shares that Brooke “designed 600 stickers during the initial wave of the Covid pandemic in Wellington, New Zealand, in hopes they might help someone in need.” It is clear that her intention to help others has gone to great use. She is loving well and sending a message that all people are valuable.

In Christ, we are reminded that we have purpose and meaning. God created all humanity in His image and with intention. We will have hardships in this world, but through His Spirit, we can abound in hope.

The way that Brooke shares this belief that all human life is a gift is motivational. She took her trials and difficulties and looked outward at how she could help others who deal with mental health as well. Brooke inspires us to be vulnerable with our challenges and see how our own struggles can be used to help others through their difficulties as well. We can have hope because of Christ.
