Hobby Lobby shelves cover all kinds of home decor and crafting needs. But here's the one thing you'll be hard-pressed to find in the store (and it's probably not that shocking when you think about it)!
As a Christan mom and former Hobby Lobby employee, I can tell you one thing: You can load up your kids and head to Hobby Lobby to look for Fall decor and skip down the aisles with glee.

Why? Because all you will find is ‘pumpkins, spice, and everything nice.’ You don’t have to worry about goblins and gore. Nor do you have to worry about racy costumes, skeletons, demons, or anything spooky. Isn’t that refreshing?
The lack of spooky Halloween decor on Hobby Lobby shelves may disappoint some people. But others are rejoicing in the way this store runs its business. Take note. Hobby Lobby has made headlines before because of its religious views.

For example, they close on Sundays. As stated on their website, they are known for "honoring the Lord in all we do by operating in a manner consistent with Biblical principles" and "providing a return on the family's investment, sharing the Lord's blessing with our employees, and investing in our community."
In a time where God’s truth isn’t the world’s truth, it’s refreshing to know a business is sticking to the foundational word of God. At least we can welcome the changing seasons with different hues of leaves, hay bales, and pumpkins without encountering spooky gore.
May we all choose to be good stewards and spend our money at businesses that uphold God’s values.
