Henry Winkler Spills The Beans On The Secret To 40 Years Of Marriage

Actor Henry Winkler will forever be remembered as the beloved Fonzie on the classic TV show Happy Days. But he's also been a devoted husband for 40 years. And during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Henry Winkler gave marriage advice we could all use!

Henry met his wife Stacey Weitzman (nee) during his time on Happy Days. Henry dropped by a clothing shop in Beverly Hills and Stacey happened to be there. Someone whispered, “Hey, there’s Fonzie,” and the two were introduced. Henry asked Stacey out and she said yes.

The two hit it off, though not because Stacey was some star-struck fan. She admits she'd only seen Happy Days once when they met!

But that didn't matter to Harry. He was smitten.

“Everyone who meets Stacey likes her,” the actor says.

The couple tied the knot on May 5, 1978. And 40 years later, they're still going strong!

Henry is still married and still acting. He recently appeared on a late-night talk show to promote some of his new work.

While being interviewed, host James Corden congratulated Henry on celebrating 40 years of marriage to his wife, Stacey. And James couldn't resist asking Henry for his advice to a lasting marriage. After first getting James and the audience rolling with a joke, Henry Winkler gave marriage advice that was absolutely beautiful.

These are truly some important words of wisdom from a cherished actor. No wonder he's been married for so long. What a great reminder for all of the couples out there!
