The son, Jordan Rabjohn, teamed up with his mother to bring us this neat little duet of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. He gave the video a very humorous description, “I've said it before and I'll say it again, my Mum is a better singer than me and here is proof!”

Jordan is already known to be a talented musician. Those unfamiliar with his mother can now understand where he gets his talent from.

Both mother and son sing powerfully beside their fancily decorated Christmas tree.

The tree is bedazzled with bright ornaments of different sizes and shapes. Up on top, a beautiful star to complement it all. A single grey stocking with a reindeer emblem rests on the wall near the tree.

Mother And Son Wow With Christmas Duet

From the moment the singing starts in this Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas duet until the end of the video, both people showcase a strong ability to control their voices. Calling their talent impressive is an understatement.

There are snippets in the video where they break into slow-motion laughing. The sight is joyful and very, very merry.

At one point Jordan’s mom holds up a baby picture, which could be her, could be her son. Afterward, she and her son hold up signs in front of themselves.

Hers reveals that Jordan still wakes up at 6 am to meet Santa. (YIKES.) His sign has an arrow pointing to his mother. And when he sees his mom’s sign he shakes his head in denial. Who wouldn’t?

What this Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas duet from the talented duo makes clear is that the holidays are upon us. Whether you are in lockdown or not, that special time of the year is here.

Much of the year has flown by and likely not in the way anyone intended. Nonetheless, every day of life is a moment of celebration, and this holiday season especially is a time where we can draw our attention to Christ and our loved ones, thanking God for all he has blessed us with.

Time to trade in our frowns for smiles, and our concerns for gratitude. That way we can each have a merry little Christmas.

A Prayer for Those Who Accept Christ This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 24

The fact is, all around us, there are many people, for many reasons, who are searching for Christ this Christmas. We may not see the choir of angels around us, but the heavenly host still proclaims Christ’s birth. It occurs all around us.
