With Granny unable to make the ceremony, it only felt right to find a way to bring the special day to her.
Jessica and the family realized they needed to do something big. They tried to think of ways like using Facetime to have Harris still be a part of the wedding event. That's when Jessica's sister came up with the winning idea.

“My sister said that if I went up there in my dress it would make us both feel better and make her night," Jessica said. "I needed no convincing."
Bouquet in hand, Jessica and her new husband, Tyler made a late night visit to Harris at the Jacksonville hospital where she was recovering. The newlyweds along with several of the wedding party and family were determined to bring the celebration to her! [/slide]“My granny is the sweetest woman and has a hug so full of love that it makes the whole world feel OK,” Brown told ABC News. “To finally hug her lifted my heavy heart.”

Amanda Brown, Jessica's sister-in-law and photographer (Pink Shutter Photography) was there to capture the emotional family moment. When she posted the sweet embrace on social media, the story instantly went viral.

"After the amazing day it only felt right to go visit her granny in the hospital so she could see her granddaughter in her wedding dress! It was a sweet, beautiful and emotional moment but so glad I caught it on film!" Amanda said.
We're sure it did much more for her grandmother and created a beautiful first memory for the Jessica and Tyler as husband and wife.
