Strangers Leave A Special Tip For A Grandma Raising Triplets

Grandma Raising Triplets Gets A Special Blessing

Shiela Weisgerber loves to brag about her 3 grandsons: Bentley, Ashton, and Dalton. And while bragging is to be expected from grandparents, you might be shocked to learn that Shiela is more than just grandma. She is also the sole caretaker of these sweet boys. And when two strangers learned this was the case, they had a special blessing for the grandma raising triplets! godupdates grandma raising triplets get 300 dollar tip 1 Credit: Facebook / Shiela Weisgerber

Raising Triplets

Shiela (48) has been looking after the boys since they were just 2 months old.
"At first it was very overwhelming," she said. "And, at first I thought I bit off more than I could chew."

"She tried to do it, and when the boys were two months, she said she couldn't do it, so I stepped in and offered to raise the boys," the grandma raising triplets recalls.

"I do what I gotta do each day, and it works," she explains. "They’re good little guys."

An Unexpected Blessing

The precious boys are now 4 years old, and the light of Shiela's life. godupdates grandma raising triplets get 300 dollar tip 3 Credit: Facebook / Shiela Weisgerber During one of her recent shifts at her job as a bartender, the proud grandma was doing what she does every chance she gets -- sharing stories about the triplets! Little did she know, an out-of-town couple at a nearby table were listening in. The two strangers were clearly touched by Shiela's willingness to selflessly play the role of both grandma and mom. In fact, they were so moved, they left a special surprise for the grandma raising triplets -- a $300 tip along with the handwritten message, "Take care of those boys!" godupdates grandma raising triplets get 300 dollar tip 4 Credit: Facebook / Shiela Weisgerber It was an incredible blessing for the strapped grandma. At first, she just stared at the credit card slip in disbelief. Then she was overcome with emotion.
"I went to the bathroom and I cried," Shiela said, "and I was blown away because to me that's a lot of money."

Uplifting For All

And she wasn't the only one awed by the unexpected act of kindness. It gave hope to her boss and owner of the bar, Dave Cole Jr., as well.
"The last few months have been really hard with random deaths around here," Dave explained. "We really needed a boost. This was a godsend. Literally, it made everybody brighten up. You know that there still is good left."
It's random acts of kindness like these that encourage us all. What a difference Shiela is making in her grandson's lives, and it's wonderful too see this dedicated grandma being blessed. You just never know when God may have placed His angels in our midst! Be sure to share this incredible story with someone who's had a special influence in your own life!

Today's Devotional

A Prayer for Unity in the Church This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 22

It’s easy to take offense when someone hurts you, or you’re frustrated with where you are in life, and it seems as though everyone around you is thriving. But, when we take an honest look at ourselves and see how God loves us (1 Corinthians 13), we realize we have no right to hold any grudges against our brothers and sisters.
