Grandfather Sings To The Lord His Last Day On Earth

Seeing a loved one get closer and closer to death is incredibly difficult. But gathering with friends and family and sharing memories with an ailing loved one can truly make that time a little easier. When this woman’s 97-year-old grandfather was nearing going home to see the Lord the whole family gathered around his hospital bed to share in his last moments. credit: facebook.com As they swapped stories and shared in precious time together this Godly man had another request, he wanted to sing. So together they decided to sing his most favorite hymn ‘How Great Thou Art.’ And thankfully as they started to sing this brilliant woman pulled out her phone to capture the powerful moment. And watching as this beloved grandfather lifts his voice to the Lord is moving. credit: facebook.com No one could have known it at the time but the next morning this sweet grandpa went home to be with the Lord. And though his family is grieving, I cannot imagine the peace this moment must bring them. Knowing that one of the last things he did was worship the Lord he was about to meet.
