Cowboy Tames A Wild Horse In Just 3 Hours

Horses are truly one of God’s most magnificent creatures. It is impossible not to be mesmerized by how a creature so powerful can also be so gentle. For many working with horses is part of their job, like it is for these cowboys. And part of their job is taming wild horses.

Every cowboy has a different technique. But this one cowboy has a taming method that seemed crazy at first, but it is so effective and truly beautiful to watch. He begins by teaching the horse that when her eyes are on him everything is calm and quiet and she can feel safe. Whenever she looks away he makes noise to startle her slightly. It only takes a few times of this back and forth for this horse to realize that this man is her safety. It is incredible to see the change in her eyes as she begins to trust him.

Patiently he works with her until she feels safe enough to allow him to touch her. Once she feels safer her uses ropes to teach her to trust and not fight her bridle. And then slowly he teaches her to allow him to ride her. It only took 3 hours of the beautiful dance for her to learn to trust her keeper and now this gorgeous creature can begin a new life.

It is incredible to see how patience, love, faith, and calm took this wild horse and taught her to trust. Who else was mesmerized by this process and by this beautiful horse?
