He's a man known for being fair, patient, and kind. You'll often find Judge Frank Caprio doling out just as much compassion in any Caught In Providence video as justice. And perhaps that's why one of his videos recently garnered such a passionate response.
In a video titled "Please Pray For Me," Frank Caprio made a startling announcement. Soon before his 87th birthday, doctors diagnosed the beloved judge with pancreatic cancer. It's the same type of cancer that killed Alex Trebek at age 80. And it's a disease that often comes with a grim prognosis.

However, Judge Caprio knows the true source of healing comes from the Lord. And prayer is a powerful weapon against any evil we face. So, in his video, Frank Caprio asks fans to pray for his health.
"One thing that people ask me is, 'What can I do for you?'" the judge explains. He goes on to say, "I would ask each of you in your own way to please pray for me. I am in need of the power of prayer, which I believe, in addition to the medical treatment that I'm receiving, is the most powerful weapon to help me survive this."
In addition to prayers for healing, Judge Caprio also covered his medical team in prayers.
"I pray that God guides their thoughts and their hands in their treatment of me," he said. "I know this is a long road and I'm fully prepared to fight as hard as I can."
