Compassionate Firefighters Comfort Scared Children After a Car Crash
Sometimes the most heroic thing we can do for someone in distress is provide comfort. A photo of two firefighters, Sam Berry and Jared Davis, went viral for just this reason. In the picture, the firefighters comfort two young victims of a car crash. And their compassion for the terrified children certainly makes them true heroes! godupdates firefighters comfort scared children after car crash fb Credit: Facebook/Amarillo Fire Department The two young children survived the car accident, but were terribly distraught. They walked away from the crash without injuries, but they were struggling to process the situation after the wreck. Overcome, the two huddled on the side of the road at the scene of the accident. That's when the firefighters dropped everything to provide emotional support. Can you imagine how scary this type of experience was for the two little ones? [rsnippet id="3" name="Article-Ad"]

Firefighters Comfort Children

Firefighters Sam and Jared saw an immediate need to provide comfort for the two children. While they did what they say any other firefighter would have done, we still think it was pretty amazing. Because they went the extra mile to do their job, they provided much needed comfort to the two children after the huge car accident.
"I’m a firm believer that compassion is a form of medicine", Jared told NewsChannel10.

The photo shows Sam cradling the little girl and Jared calming down the little boy who survived the crash. The picture was on the fire department’s Facebook page to praise the caring heroes for a job well done.
"Every guy on the job has probably done this, we just happened to get photographed", Jared says.
These two young children were fortunate that Sam and Jared provided much needed emotional support! Sam actually worked for another precinct and was just filling in for a fellow firefighter that day. As a result, he was in the right place at the right time! Seems like the world could use more compassionate people like these two men. h/t: Everything Inspirational YOU MAY ALSO LIKE: Photo Of A Police Officer Snuggling An Abandoned Toddler Goes Viral Credit: Facebook / Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department
