Couple Who Feared They'd Never Have Children Are Now A Family With 12 Kids Under Age 12

Courtney and Chris Rogers, a couple who feared they’d never have children, are now a family with 12 kids -- all under the age of 12!

When God calls you to something, he will see it through. It doesn’t matter if it’s a job, a dream, or becoming a parent. When there doesn’t seem a way, God will make a way, just like he did for this precious couple, Courtney and Chris Rogers.

The couple’s first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. They feared they wouldn’t be able to have children at all. Finally, when they learned they were pregnant again a few years later, Courtney and Clint were over the moon with their blessing.

"Clint was born three weeks before I turned 26 but, back then, I had no clue that I would have more children,” Courtney recalled.

After Clint was born they continued to welcome one child after another. When they got to ten kids, Courtney and Chris wanted to become a family with 12 kids -- to be the real-life ‘Cheaper By the Dozen’ family.

Courtney and Chris love their six boys and six girls: Clint, 12; Clay, 10; Cade, nine; Callie, eight; cash, seven; twins Colt and Case, six; Calena, four; Caydie, three; Coralee, two; Caris, one, and their newborn, baby Cambria.

Courtney said, "We had 12 children under 12, as Clint turned 12 on Sunday, so Cambria was born just a week before his birthday.” She added, “He was excited to have another birthday near him, with my husband's the week before, too, so they are all together.”

Even though they are done having more children, Courtney can’t imagine what it will be like not to be pregnant. She adored partnering with God to create life and bring it into the world. Now that they are done having children, Courtney is looking forward to the next stage of life.

She will be watching her kids grow up on their farm with 140 animals. And she will continue to homeschool while raising them to know their savior in the Lord.

The Rogers family with 12 kids illustrates what it means to trust in the Lord in all things. They put their hope in Christ and witnessed God answering their prayers in abundance. Who else is looking forward to watching the children of this family grow up?

Today's Devotional

A Prayer for Unity in the Church This Christmas - Your Daily Prayer - December 22

It’s easy to take offense when someone hurts you, or you’re frustrated with where you are in life, and it seems as though everyone around you is thriving. But, when we take an honest look at ourselves and see how God loves us (1 Corinthians 13), we realize we have no right to hold any grudges against our brothers and sisters.
